Learning to use Twitter
I must admit that I have never been drawn to using social networks, although everywhere you go online you see them trying to draw you in to become a member. I have reluctantly joined one or two of the bigger networks in the past but have never really used them to their full potential.
Occassionally, you have to go with the flow, to where the action is, and this is why I am now learning to use Twitter.

Twitter I am told is a powerful tool, both socially and as a marketing tool if used correctly. Setting up your first account is relatively simple, with a user name and password. Then there are places to edit your account settings, change background etc. As yet my background is not done. I have made this a priority task this weekend.
Building followers is an important factor in Twitter. The more followers you have and who you follow, influences what you get out of using Twitter as a business marketing tool. To build my followers I am also using a viral marketing tool Twy2 as a traffic and lead generator.
There are whole guides written on how to tweet effectively using only! 140 characters; I am sure that once you learn the basics and some basic Twitter etiquette you can then use and adapt this marketing tool to your best advantage to suit your marketing needs.
I am a newbie twitterer and have still much to learn as far as this new social network tool is concerned.
