The Jubilee weekend celebrations
The Jubilee weekend is nearly upon us and we are looking forward to having some fun here in Essex. Starting tomorrow we will be of to participate in some of the local venues in and around Frinton on sea. Browsing through the advertised venues there’s a lot of family fun to be had.
Queens Diamond Jubilee weekend
Things to do in Frinton:
There’s lots of family fun to be had on Friday and Saturday at the Triangle Shopping center (10-4pm) – Jubilee Festival with music, dance, competitions and more, all in aid of St John’s Ambulance and the local R.N.L.I
On Saturday there’s the Children’s Jubilee Fancy Dress parade and in the Millenium Square, from 2.30-4.30pm a ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’ together with a bouncy castle.
Monday 4th June is Street Party day in Frinton from 12-7pm with lots of entertainment and fun for children, and for the older generation exhibitions on the greensward with a ‘Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’ fly past at 4pm. Once the babes are in bed there’s a BBQ in the evening in Walton followed by the lighting of the Naze Beacon.
Lots of fun and lots to do to make it a very special and memorable weekend.
