Colchester Zoo trip

Our trip to Colchester zoo the other day was not only a pleasant afternoon out and an educational trip for our grandson but also a chance to take out the camera and take some shots of the animals we saw. It’s not always easy to take photos when people are milling around, lines of school children wandering past exhibits but if you are patient enough you get the occasional chance to take a shot. Where animals are enclosed behind glass one also has to consider reflections.

I did come away with a few nice shots of the animals that we saw which I have compiled into a short video which has been loaded to Youtube.

A short video is a nice way of presenting material, and I know my grandson will pester me time and time again to see the animals. Animals he has seen at Colchester zoo and remembers the names of. Learning through play, what better way!
