Galaxy S 3 problem solved

Having bought a new phone towards the end of last year I was very surprised to find that my new Galaxy S 3 had a problem. The phone tells me to connect to the charger as the battery is low, but when I do so the phone will not charge. Completely inactive! No red charging light in the top left corner, no battery charging indicator screen.

Galaxy S 3 problem solved

Having scoured the official Samsung UK website for answers, numerous forums (where I found many Galaxy owners with very similar problems) I turned to YouTube for an answer. After watching a few short videos I decided to go ahead and try out some of the advice that was being given.

What worked for me:
The charger itself plugs into the socket. Take the large end of the cable that plugs into the charger and insert it into a USB port on your computer and connect the other end of the cable to your phone. Immediately the battery indicator screen came to life. This remedy worked for me and the phone now charges perfectly! It is the charger that is faulty, and not the phone (she sighs with relief!)
Let me know if this solution solves your problem too.

Galaxy S 3

Having previously had a Samsung Toco Lite and been a happy user it was a big jump from that to the Galaxy S111 but well worth it. All the features work well: the Wi-Fi connection holds well, the sound is good, the screen is crisp and shows up content well. There are enough apps in the store to keep most people busy and entertained. One feature I really like and have used quite a bit is the camera with 8 megapixels which is so easy to use. Take a picture then run the photo through an editor like Perfectly clear or Snapseed and you can share it with family, friends or upload it to your storage or favourite online picture gallery.

The image in this post was taken with the Galaxy S 3 Camera and run through the picture editor.

Not home-grown courgettes at this time of year but a tasty dish nevertheless to accompany the Easter lamb or pork roast or any meat for that matter whatever the time of year. It’s simple enough to for anyone to make. Prepare and cook it the day before and keep it refrigerated overnight. Always tastes better the following day. Warm up the courgettes in tomato sauce; serve this colourful side dish as and when needed during your festive meal. Your family and guests will love it!

What you will need:

1 deep frying pan, or sauté pan with a lid.

Ingredients:

4 courgettes
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 green pepper
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 tin chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp sunflower oil
Salt & Pepper
Fresh herbs: Oregano, parsley, thyme or
1 tbsp dried Italian herbs
1 mild chilli(optional

Preparation time:

10-15 minutes

How to cook Courgettes in tomato sauce.

1. Chop up the onion into small pieces. Chop up the courgettes into chunky bite size pieces or slice if you prefer. Chop up the peppers roughly. A variety of colours if you have them otherwise whatever you prefer. Crush the garlic cloves or chop very, very finely. Chop finely the fresh herbs. If using the chilli chop very finely, or you can substitute with a few chilli flakes. Strength of the chilli is up to you.

2. Add the oil to a deep frying/saute pan, add the onion and fry for about 10 minutes till soft. Add the garlic. Add the chopped vegetables and cook for about 10 minutes stirring gently.

3. Add the tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, salt & pepper according to taste, all the herbs. Stir well. Bring to the boil, cover, turn the heat down so the vegetables are just simmering and leave to cook for about 30-45 minutes. The vegetables produce their own juices while cooking so no need to add any liquid but keep an eye on this. Check occasionally.

4. Keep simmering till all courgettes and peppers are soft and you a left with a thickish sauce. Cool and refrigerate till needed.

Serve warm garnished with freshly chopped parsley or basil leaves(optional).

Bon Apetit! Smacznego! Enjoy!

Cooking time: Approximately, 1 hr more or less.
