Working with Android Studio

It’s hard to believe a whole month has passed by and we are now into February 2016 already. January was a busy month at Ycademy with training calls each week culminating in the end of the month Seminar at Ycademy.

Following the same learning curve that we started in December 2015,  trainings continued during the past month focusing on the Android Studio Development Environment as well as learning some basics in Java Programming.

Android Studio with Ycademy

This  past weekend we all attended the January seminar at Ycademy to build a new application utilising the Studio, a Universal Android App for WordPress. A busy hands-on workshop online, with questions immediately answered (which is most important) so no waiting for answers. All participant walked away with a working application that was visible on their smartphones showing their personal or business blog. A weekend well spent! Of course this just a basic application at the moment which will now be worked on and further developed by to create and interactive app with features such as social media, notifications, maps etc. as well as an application for the Apple OS platform.

All this is just the beginning of a new learning curve that will be developed throughout the coming year during daily training calls and monthly seminars.
